About the event
LIT & LYRIC is a monthly pop-up literary salon that brings books and music into conversation. This inaugural gathering will introduce the first featured book, Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, paired with the song Turn Your Lights Down Low by Bob Marley. Together, the evening explores how literature and music reflect and deepen one another through shared listening, reading, and conversation.
Books will be available for purchase on-site in support of the host venue. Light appetizers, drinks, and wine will be served throughout the evening, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for reflection, dialogue, and community. Space is limited.
